Spire Hartswood Hospital

Outpatient Services Manager
Equivalent Band 8 dependent on experience
Put the patient at the heart of your work as you embark on an exciting mission.

Spire Hartswood Hospital is a 49 bed hospital with 4 theatres and offers a comprehensive range of services and facilities. Our vision is to be recognised as a world class healthcare business bringing together the best people who are dedicated to developing excellent clinical environments and delivering the highest quality patient care.

Joining the team in Brentwood, this exciting role will see you using your nursing experience to manage the outpatient facilities including treatment rooms, consulting rooms, Minor Ops, Wellness/Screening, Pathology and Visa services – meaning there’s never a dull moment! Looking after Team Leaders, you will be tasked with overseeing a diverse patient group in a constantly evolving environment of planned procedures. Juggling the demands of multiple clinics running simultaneously, you will utilise your fantastic organisation skills to ensure the patient experience is consistently high, and your staff are content. You will also delegate workloads and determine the sensible use of resources.

As a registered nurse with proven management experience in a clinical environment, it would be hugely beneficial if you had experience in Outpatients. Constantly monitoring current practices and trends, you will ensure we are offering an excellent level of care, and your ability to assess the competence of the team will prove invaluable. Able to meet financial and KPI’s, your business acumen will be matched by your people management skills across multidisciplinary teams.

This is a dynamic role in which you will be encouraged to develop your skills – and that of your staff – with ongoing training opportunities. So if you’re the type of person who can see a challenge head on, then we’ve got the role for you.
