Job Details

Location: Lancaster and Morecambe

Salary: £15.50 per hour + benefits (accommodation available)

Description: This prestigious group of nursing homes have been established for over 25 years and are still today owned and operated as a family business.

All of their homes are set in the beautiful, picturesque surroundings of the Lancashire countryside.  Each home is unique in its style with inspiring settings, modern facilities, beautiful dining rooms, lounges and a varied, holistically focused agenda of activities.

The standard of nursing, care and management throughout their homes is exceptional and their colleagues look after residents and each other as if they were an extended member of the family, this is reflected in the unique approach matrons take to each individual when they conduct a full assessment of needs. Their homes provide a range of relaxed and comfortable accommodation alongside compassionate, professional nursing services for the widest range of needs, whilst always ensuring that residents’ personal care is totally unique to their needs and wants.

A position has become available for a qualified Nurse to work in a relief capacity between several of the groups’ well-appointed care homes. This is a rare opportunity to develop your skills across a variety of specialisms as each of their homes focus on specific areas of clinical need (elderly frail, dementia, palliative care etc), and you can work on either a full- or part-time basis.

Person Specification: The right candidate will hold a relevant nursing qualification (RN level 1 or equivalent) with the right to work in the UK and a current valid PIN.

Benefits: Benefits include: a competitive salary, In house training academy, revalidation workshops, regular rotas, accommodation (if required), free parking and an opportunity to maintain a good work/ life balance.
