“Exciting and rewarding clinical opportunities working within Defence rehabilitation”

The Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre (DMRC) Headley Court will move to a new location North of Loughborough in 2018.

The new centre at Stanford Hall will be handed over to the Ministry of Defence in April 2018 and the main move of staff and patients will occur in the Autumn. The new centre will be purpose built at a cost of over £300m and have state of the art clininical and research facilities.

A number of Band 5, Band 6 and Band 7 Nurses will be required at Stanford Hall in:

• Musculoskeletal • Complex Trauma

• Neurological • Spinal Cord Injury

Some posts will be employed to shadow senior members of staff who may elect not to move with the unit. This shadowing could be between 3-6 months and individuals who take up this opportunity will have guaranteed employment at the new centre. Appropriate pay, travel and subsistence allowances will be paid to those who take up this opportunity. A number of posts will also be available to start at Stanford Hall when the unit formally opens and the patients move in the Autumn of 2018.
