Their Birmingham hospital are currently looking for a Registered General Nurse to join their Acute ward team. The department is a busy Acute ward providing nursing care for patients post Orthopaedic, ENT and Gynae surgery.

You will have at least 12 Months experience in working in an Acute ward setting in either a NHS or Independent hospital setting, have basic ward management skills and

The role is full time 37.5 hours per week Mon - Sat, 3-4 shifts per week on a flexible working rota

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • RGN or post EN conversion course with full UK registration
  • Post registration clinical course (desirable)
  • Up to date knowledge in acute medicine / surgery
  • Aware of NMC code of accountability
  • Basic ward management
  • Surgical experience in orthopaedics/ gynae/ general surgery/ cosmetics beneficial.
  • Proven experience in an acute hospital
