Job Description
As deputy to the Senior Staff Nurse, you are a crucial part of the team in ensuring the highest standards of clinical care are delivered. To be an advocate for the patient, working within the multidisciplinary team. Administering chemotherapy effectively and ensuring safe patient flow. Provide effective communication between all members of the multidisciplinary team. Ensure high levels of professional behaviour are adhered to at all times. The post holder's primary post will be within the Adult oncology Departments.
Duties & Responsibilities
The main purpose of this role is to support members of the Leaders in Oncology Care team ensuring all patients receive appropriate care, as well as co-ordinate patient care within a multidisciplinary team.
- Hours: This is a Full Time position, working 37.5 hours per week MON - FRI and NO NIGHTS
- Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum depending on experience
Skills & Experience
- NMC Registered Nurse (RN Adult)
- Chemotherapy Competence is preferred
- Experience of working with Chemotherapy Patients is preferred

The successful candidate will be adaptable and able to meet changing workloads, working independently as well as within the team. They will possess a passion for delivering customer service and a desire to provide an exceptional patient experience.
