Theatre Practitioner (ODP/RGN) Recovery/Anaesthetics
Spire Hospital – Hartswood
Equivalent Band 6 dependent on experience

Spire Hartswood Hospital is a 49 bed hospital with 4 theatres and offers a comprehensive range of services and facilities including Spire Specialist Care Centre in Chelmsford.  This is a brand new cancer center delivering care for cancer patients receiving chemotherapy and radiotherapy and all manner of supportive care. It is part of a network of over 20 cancer treatment sites across Spire Healthcare. Our vision is to be recognised as a world class healthcare business bringing together the best people who are dedicated to developing excellent clinical environments and delivering the highest quality patient care.

Taking on the roles of a surgical practitioner, you will play a key part in supporting the management and organisation of exemplary patient care in the operating theatre. Providing excellent clinical support, you will help to deliver planned care for patients who need perioperative intervention. Crucially, you will also help the theatre manager to maximise utilisation of the theatre. In return, you will enjoy a range of opportunities for training and development, including scope to study for further specialist qualifications such as Advanced Scrub Practitioner or NVQ Assessor.

To join us, you’ll need to be either a Theatre Nurse / Operating Department Practitioner  / Anaesthetic with NMC or HPC registration and proven experience of working in theatres. Experience in Orthopaedics would be desirable as would Urology experience.
