Location: Central London

Salary: £30,791-£33,619 + benefits

Description: Our client is a well-established in-patient detoxification unit, working in partnership with SLaM, based in central South London. The prospective employee must have experience in assisting service users with their individual recovery from addiction in a relaxed in-patient setting outside of the NHS. The duties will include admissions, facilitating medical detoxification, key-working service users and coordinating GP rounds.  Health groups are also part of the nursing structure.

You will need to be a qualified RMN or RGN who is flexible, enthusiastic, self-motivated and interested in working within a modern, forward thinking, and effective specialist service. You will be a key member of the multi-disciplinary team adopting a pro-active and therapeutic approach to care management within a supportive and healing environment.

Based on a 37.5 hours week you will be on a rolling rota of 3 long day or night shifts per week.  Positive balance towards days.

Person Specification: All applicants must hold a first level qualification in Mental Health or General Nursing within the UK, along with a current valid PIN.
