Within Shetland’s Community Health and Care Partnership we are currently reviewing our nursing services within the community setting seeking to build services which will support individuals to live healthy, active lives within that community for as long as possible with access to appropriate medical and nursing care when required. As part of this review we are creating posts at a range of different levels across the Career Framework and currently have opportunities for postholders in the following areas of nursing
Advanced Nurse Practitioner Ref:
Across the service we are increasing our numbers of ANP posts to support the ongoing development of a range of patient services which we can provide to support increased access to services, both for scheduled and unscheduled care, as well as enhancing choice in relation to the range of healthcare professionals available for consultation. The post holder will work flexibly as part of a team of ANPs, providing front line service for general practice patients in various different locations. Support and supervision is available from designated General Practitioners (GP’s)
