Macmillan Nurse Endoscopist / Upper GI Cancer Nurse Specialist

Band 7: £32,013 - £42,205 per annum, pro rata REF: NM2023

37.5 hours per week, Permanent

An exciting development opportunity has arisen for an experienced nurse endoscopist and cancer nurse specialist to develop our local service.

You will become an integral part of the endoscopy team applying specialist knowledge and expert clinical skills to provide patient centred nurse endoscopy services. The post holder will be required to have skills in performing colonoscopy, fl exible sigmoidoscopy and gastroscopy.

You will lead and develop Upper GI cancer services in the context of multidisciplinary working across professional boundaries and health and social care settings by providing an expert nurse led service offering advice, support and holistic care from investigation, diagnosis, treatment and ongoing management through to palliative care and bereavement as appropriate.
