Staff Nurse, Samares Ward - Rehabilitation
Grade 4 £38,627 - £40,968 per year (equivalent to a Band 5 under UK AfC) + relocation allowance
Patients will rely on the quality of care you deliver as Staff Nurse within our Rehabilitation Unit on Samares Ward. All your patients will be undergoing rehabilitation as a result of a stroke, traumatic head injury, chronic neurological conditions or orthopaedic injuries – through trauma, falls and surgery. As part of a dedicated, close knit multidisciplinary team, the care delivery is evidence based allowing you to evaluate, and set realistic treatment goals to allow your patient to strive to achieve their optimum level of recovery in a positive and enthusiastic setting. You will need to take full account of their complex or high risk needs and fully assess each patient holistically.
To join us, you’ll need to be a 1st Level Registered Nurse with proven post-qualifying experience. You’ll bring to the role a thorough knowledge of the NMC Code (2017) guidelines, together with a commitment to remain up to date with the latest developments in clinical and nursing practice. Crucially, you’ll be passionate about patient care and want to join an established professional and pleasant environment.
Our people matter to us, so we’ll support you from day one. We’ll give you everything you need to make this move and start changing the lives of others, and your own. That means a generous relocation package, continual training and development opportunities, and the freedom to rediscover not just why you love what you do, but also who you are. This is care rediscovered.

Company
Covering an area of 45 square miles and with a resident population just over 100,000, Jersey is the largest and most southerly of the Channel Islands. And our Health and Social Services aim to improve the health and wellbeing of Islanders through the delivery of high quality, person focused health and social care.
To meet these goals, our staff are working with our voluntary, community and independent sector partners, including those in Primary Care, to continue to transform and develop services in line with our vision as described in ‘A New Way Forward for Health and Social Care’.
Following a period of service redesign and significant investment, we now need experienced and motivated people to help us realise our collective ambition and play an active part in delivering within our community mental health teams.
Jersey is an island community built on care and it’s why we look out for, and after one another so well. This is your chance to make the move, start a new adventure and rediscover why you love what you do, and who you are. This is care rediscovered.
