We are proud to be England's largest independent provider of NHS services, delivering more than 70 different healthcare services throughout the UK. We are currently looking for Pathways trained clinicians to join us on the bank to support our community of NHS 111 Clinicians. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to work additional hours around their current roles. This will be a 0 hour bank contract but you will be responsible in maintaining your pathways license by completing at least 16 hours a month as a Clinical advisor at the Dudley site.

Key Responsibilities
As a paramedic/nurse advisor within 111 you will provide over the phone advice to patients with non-emergency urgent care needs. Using the NHS Pathways IT system and your own clinical expertise, you will support the Health advisors within the contact centre and help to assess the patients’ needs to arrive at a correct clinical outcome.
Qualifications
Registered Paramedic or Registered Nurse Pathways trained

NHS 111 is the 24/7/365 non-emergency telephone service providing patients access to the most appropriate urgent care service for their needs without the need for repeated assessment. NHS 111 is designed to improve and simplify access to non-emergency health care by providing access to a full range of services including referrals into community, primary and secondary care services. * Pathways trained * Currently working as a 111 Clinical advisor, Paramedic or RGN • Patient and quality focused • Understanding of Health Advisor role • Ability to work effectively under pressure and support others • Good communication, organisational & administration skills • Relevant computer skills including MS Office packages • Willingness to learn new skills
