Key to this role will be to lead on the implementation of the autism framework and service delivery, to not only ensure you work in partnership with all key agencies and stakeholder groups but also with Mental Health Services and off island specialists both in the UK and Jersey to develop and maintain excellent standards in autism practice. In addition, you will need to liaise closely with 3rd sector colleagues to develop and maintain the Guernsey Autism Partnership (GAP).
You should be able to demonstrate that you have substantial experience in working closely with autistic children and adults, their relatives and carers with the ability to communicate highly complex condition-related information to autistic people, their families and carers, where there may be significant barriers to this
Finally you will hold line management and clinical lead responsibility for the Autism Hub and Outreach Service and play a key role in the development and implementation of the neurodevelopmental assessment diagnostic service for adults.
