Salary: Band 5 equivalent, £22,000-£28,500 + benefits
Description: This Hospice is a patient-led charity that delivers specialist palliative care to adult patients of all ages who have advance life-limiting conditions.
They cover six Surrey boroughs with a population of over 360,000, providing free of charge care and support services for patients, their families and carers.
They now have a position for a Palliative Care Staff Nurse (RGN/RN Adult) who will provide a high quality specialist palliative care service to patients with a life limiting illness and to provide care and support for the families, carers and those close to them.
You will deliver evidence based specialist palliative care to patients and their families. Have accountability for delivering a holistic approach to providing excellent standards of patient centred care.
Full and Part time hours will be considered and newly qualified nurses will actively be encouraged to apply.
Person Specification: Suitable qualified nurse (RGN/RN Adult) or about to qualify. No Palliative care experience is required although you will need a willingness to undertake PAH ECEPC/Diploma in Palliative Care
