An exciting opportunity has arisen within Solent Integrated Sexual Health Service for a dynamic, motivated nurse to support our senior management team and lead our team of Sexual Health nurses.

The successful applicant will need to have experience at Band 7 or experience as a senior Band 6. It is essential that you have a proven leadership skills and the ability to motivate staff and manage change is also vital. You must be able to demonstrate high standards in clinical care and have the ability to improve and sustain quality and patient satisfaction. The post holder will also work closely with the senior leadership team to provide, promote and develop our integrated Sexual Health Service.

There will be an expectation that this candidate will lead on the management of the clinical service this will include taking on rota management in collaboration with the other Nurse Locality Managers within Solent Sexual Health, ensuring that there is adequate cover through the countywide service to maintain patient access. The successful candidate must also ensure that all Standard Operating Procedures are implemented across the service and that standardisation of care is provided and assurance can be demonstrated to the senior management team.

You will be required to be flexible, organised, resilient and able to meet the challenges and demands of a busy and diverse clinical service. Significant clinical experience and expertise in contraception and/or Sexual Health nursing is necessary for this post. This post will be based at Royal South Hants Hospital but as a Countywide service there will be an expectation for this post to include travel to provide senior support at bases North and South of the County.
