HCA Healthcare UK (International Cancer Centre of the Year 2016 winners) are looking for an experienced Haematology or Oncology Staff Nurse to join Harley Street at University College Hospital (UCH).

Harley Street at UCH established in 2006 and is a fully JACIE accredited BMT unit. We offer the very best in private haematology healthcare, supporting patients through screening, diagnosis, treatment and aftercare we provide a wide range of services and treatments including; cutting edge radiotherapy, complex chemotherapy, immunotherapy, antibody treatments and bone marrow transplantation.

Whilst the prime focus of this unit is haematological cancers, we do also have a wide range and high level of experience in other blood disorders and Oncological diagnoses, making this role extremely diverse and interesting, in turn allowing you to continually learn and develop.

Job Description

With low patient to nurse ratios you are able to implement a high level of care and compassion to your patients and become a fundamental part of their treatment and recovery and our resident Haematology Consultant means that you will always have consultant level support.

Salary: £33-36k + shift enhancements (dependant on experience)

Duties & Responsibilities

Your role as a Staff Nurse is to act as an advocate for your patient, recognising the individual needs of the patient’s, carer’s and family’s needs. You will provide specialist nursing advice to support and facilitate high quality, individualised care in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team and provide the highest standards of holistic nursing care using evidence based practice.

Skills & Experience

You must be an NMC Registered nurse from an acute hospital setting with some Haematology or Oncology nursing experience. If you think you have what it takes to work in this challenging but rewarding field of nursing then we are looking for you.
