Addaction are now looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Non Medical Prescriber to join our new dynamic multi-disciplinary team providing a clinical support service in Herefordshire. You will be required to work 37.5 hours per week. In return we can offer you a competitive benefits package.

Working within host sites you will provide appropriate clinical interventions to service users in line with the service contract, Prescribe controlled drugs for service users and contribute to the development of supplementary and independent nurse-led pharmacotherapy within service as well as ensuring that a vaccination and blood testing programme is carried out in accordance with relevant Patient Group Directions and clinical protocols agreed by Addaction and local NHS authorities. 

For this role you’ll need to be a registered nurse with a minimum of two years post registration experience, a prescribing qualification and experience of delivering nursing interventions in a community setting. You will be committed to working within the voluntary sector, in line with Addaction’s values and will relish the challenges of contributing to the development of a new service and delivering high quality clinical care.
