Job Description

We are looking to recruit experienced Physiotherapists to join our centralised Bank team to work across HCA Healthcare on an adhoc temporary basis as and when there are requirements within the business. Areas of work include paediatric, intensive care, Neuro - rehabilitation, orthopaedics, cardiothoracics, neurosurgery, oncology, general surgical and medical wards

This is an ideal opportunity if you are looking for flexibility in your working hours without committing to a permanent role and will give you the chance to work at different World class hospitals within London. Bank assignments vary from one or two days cover to a couple of weeks or longer.
We offer competitive hourly rates of pay. Various shifts available.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • To provide thorough assessment and accurate diagnosis of patient conditions and to seek second opinion in circumstances when diagnosis may be unclear.
  • To provide highly specialised physiotherapy treatment using evidence based practice where possible.
  • To be professionally and legally accountable for all aspects of own work.
  • To maintain a high standard of professional and personal conduct, complying with the HCA code of conduct and the HCPC rules of professional conduct.
  • Function as an independent, autonomous practitioner to provide specialist advice or training to other healthcare professionals, social care colleagues, doctors, physiotherapists, students, support staff and carers.

Skills & Experience

  • HCPC Registration
  • Flexibility and skill mix to work in a wide range of settings preferable
  • Able to work autonomously within part of a larger team
  • Experience in private healthcare will be advantageous, but not a necessity
