Our client is an independent co-educational day school for children from 3 to 11 years old, standing in a wonderful 30-acre site in the Warwickshire countryside, on the outskirts of the beautiful town of Stratford upon Avon. This is a vibrant, forward-thinking school, based on traditional values, which offers a diverse range of opportunities within a broad and balanced curriculum delivered through teaching in small groups.
A vacancy has arisen for a part-time, RGN qualified, School Nurse as part of a job-share arrangement on a permanent basis during term time only. The School Nurses are responsible for the medical needs of pupils whilst in school and provide pastoral and wellbeing support in order to help reduce absenteeism, improve children's health and support learning. The role also includes the provision of first aid and injury assessment. The successful candidate will be approachable and empathetic with the enthusiasm and energy to develop the School's nursing provision for the benefit of all pupils.
Working hours: Term time only (35 weeks per year). Working hours expected to normally be 8.15am-4.15pm Wednesday-Friday although a degree of flexibility may be required.
