Ward 3 - Noble’s Hospital - Isle of Man
Band 6 - £29,690 to £40,071 per annum
This is an exciting opportunity to join the newly formed integrated paediatric service with roles in outpatients, children's ward and community outreach. You will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, though your main base will be the children's ward. Applications are also invited from registered nurses wishing to undertake a Master's qualification to obtain a children's nursing qualification (RN8 or RNC) or a Post Graduate diploma in community children's nursing
The Isle of Man children's service comprises of a general paediatric 17 bedded inpatient facility with 2 High Dependency Unit (HDU) beds, outpatients, community outreach and diabetic clinics. There are a range of opportunities for personal development including air ambulance practitioner to accompany children who are tranfserring to tertiary services and HDU training. We are hoping to recruit paediatric nurses who will have visible leadership skills and be willing to deputise in the absence of the ward manager/sister or senior sister. We provide surgical, medical, orthopaedic, CAMHS and dental inpatient facilities within our modern children's department.
Our friendly hospital has great facilities for children and staff alike within a dedicated women and children's division and has good parking and public transport from the Hospital in Strang to other towns in the Isle of Man.
