A recent addition to the HCA Healthcare UK Group, Roodlane Medical operates out of offices and exclusive practices in London, Glasgow and Manchester in partnership with a network of 22 private UK hospitals, 9 treatment centers and 3 neurological units. Catering for an increasingly diverse range of private patients from those able to self-pay to Corporate Clients who are choosing to offer company funded private GP and Health Screening services as part of a suite of wellness services to keep their staff healthy and productive at work. Due to exciting business growth Roodlane Medical are recruiting for a number of experienced registered General Practitioner (GP) / Health Screeners to be based from their Executive Suites in central London, New Broad Street - EX2M, just 5 Mins walk from London Liverpool Street station. The role may include some rotation into other Roodlane Medical practices within in city centre.

Job Description

The General Practitioner (GP) / Health Screener role will involve managing, advising and treating conditions commonly found in GP practice, and carry out standard GP procedures. Predominantly private corporate healthcare clients, your typical day will consist of a morning session and an afternoon session with 1 hour break for lunch. Each session will be split, dedicated to either GP 15 minute appointments or Health Screening 30 mins - up to 2 hour appointments, offering the full range of diagnostic/investigation tests and procedures. A full time contract will be 40 hours (10 sessions) per week Monday-Friday Salary £85,000- £95000 dependant upon experience per annum. Benefits for all employees are: private pension, private medical care cover, funded indemnity insurance, guaranteed annual salary review, RO appraisals, study leave entitlement, study fund for appropriate courses, in house training, monthly lectures to support CME and an Online Clinical system, allowing doctors to access critical information and data paperless. We are also supportive of further training and CPD and have established links with Universities to provide a programme of joint appointments for those doctors wishing to study for a higher education such as Occupational Health Diploma.

Duties & Responsibilities

- Provide health screening services to clients - Review medical questionnaires prior to assessments Health screening and health promotion medicals (including history, medical examination, well woman checks, allocated tests and venesection) - Provide appropriate onward referrals as appropriate - Provide patient advice, follow ups and, where required, private prescription service - Advise patients on cost of prescriptions/dispensed medication if required - Ensure care in line with corporate client benefits, e.g. PMI - Ensure patient records and dates are maintained and updated accurately

Skills & Experience

Primary Medical Degree Full registration with the UK GMC - GP Register MRCGP (or equivalent) advantageous Excellent verbal and written English communication skills Good working knowledge of IT Performers List registration is not required
