Come and be a part of our friendly healthcare Team at HMP Whitemoor in Cambridgeshire. This is an ideal opportunity for a nurse who is looking to either develop their prison nursing career or diversify their career within this exciting and challenging area of Nursing.

You will be working as an integral part of the team providing care to inmates within a high security establishment. The primary focus of this post will be to deliver the highest standard of care required to meet the diverse and complex mental healthcare needs of an adult male population. The prison estate is set within beautiful Fenland and is one of only eight high security estates across the UK.

You will be an employee of Northamptonshire NHS Foundation Trust and enjoy all the benefits that working for the NHS offers.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly team player who is, passionate about all aspects of Nursing and has some managerial skills. Leads by example, demonstrating consistent exemplary standards of care and professionalism, is innovative and keen to drive nursing forward.

Previous experience of working within the prison estate would be an advantage but is not essential. Part time/full time hours considered. The successful candidate will need to have the necessary skills to supervise support staff.
