Due to the success of our last open day at HMP YOI Foston Hall and HMP Exeter we are hosting an open day at HMP Dovegate on the 10/05/2018 We are welcoming Registered Adult Nurses to come and meet the healthcare teams from HMP Dovegate. HMP Dovegate is a male Category B training prison caring for over 1133 male adult prisoners over the age of 21. This prison is located in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire.

Location: Uttoxeter, Staffordshire, ST14 8XR To attend this event, we ask that you contact Christie Hughes on 01189 521812 or via email to open.day@careuk.com This day will give anyone who may be interested in a career within Health in Justice the opportunity to speak with staff and management who work in the secure environment, an insight to mental health, primary care and substance misuse within the prison, Q&A sessions with our Healthcare management, and finally a visit around the establishment to get a feel for what prison healthcare is really like. During the day you will be speaking with staff about the wealth of benefits that Care UK offers including possibility of flexible working, salary packages and training opportunities. Strictly no agencies. Note: you will be unable to attend the event unless you have confirmed your attendance a minimum of two days prior so we can organise your gate pass. Please be aware that there are prohibited items within the prison environment such as mobile phones, memory sticks, recording devices, chewing gum. This is not an exhaustive list, if you are unsure please check with gate staff before entering.
