Job Description
Working on our paediatric intensive care units within the HCA Healthcare UK group will keep you challenged and will give you the opportunity to develop your existing skills. Our paediatric intensive care services are available at The Portland Hospital for Women & Children and The Harley Street Childrens Hospital. All of our units care for level 2 & 3 patients and, with our commitment to progressing careers within our group and the availability of bank shifts, you will have the opportunity to work across an extremely diverse and acute patient-load. Plus, with our nurse to patient ratio frequently at 1:1, we will give you the opportunity to do what you do best: Care. We pride ourselves on providing world class healthcare, which we achieve through our dedicated highly skilled team of nurses, state of the art facilities; with the latest technology and world renowned consultants. Our team of PICU nurses are passionate about delivering outstanding patient care at all times and go above and beyond in everything that they do.
Duties & Responsibilities
HCA Healthcare UK are currently planning expansion across our Paediatric ICU services and currently have a mixture of permanent and bank career opportunities available across all levels and sites.On Friday 18th May 2018 starting at 9:30am we will be opening our doors to showcase our PICU services and what HCA Healthcare UK can offer you in terms of career development – this will be held at The Harley Street Diagnostic Centre at 16 Devonshire Street. This open morning will consist of • Meet and greet with our PICU Managers • Critical Care Presentation • We will also be conducting formal interviews on the day If you are an experienced, patient focused critical care nurse or an acute nurse looking to enter into PICU, we want to hear from you.
Skills & Experience
We offer attractive starting salaries which are reviewed annually, a competitive pension, private healthcare and a progressive career pathway. We can also offer a relocation package if you are living outside of London or the UK. Our salaries start from £31,630 (Staff Nurse), £35,673 (Senior Staff Nurse) and £39,174 (Charge Nurse), plus shift enhancements and we also operate a Critical Care Incentive Scheme of £3000 in addition to your salary, to those who have completed their paediatric intensive care course. We can also offer funding for your PICU qualification which will allow you to become eligible for the PICU Scheme
