Our client is an independent day school for girls aged 11-18, located on the Hampshire/Surrey/Berkshire border, 35 miles from Central London.
They are seeking to appoint an outstanding School Nurse, from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm term time only plus inset days, with the required knowledge, skills, experience and personal qualities. Ideally the applicant will be a Registered Nurse (RGN), have experience in paediatrics or working with children, experience of sports injury care and treatment, have a First Aid at Work/First Aid Instructor Certificate and experience of working in an educational/institutional environment. The successful applicant should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, clear empathy and understanding of pupils' development and needs, and a flexible approach to working hours.
