SCHOOL MEDICAL AND WELFARE OFFICER - ENFIELD
Full or part-time - competitive salary - Term-time only
Our client is an all-through school in the London Borough of Enfield. Their intake is mixed and comprehensive in nature. They opened their doors to our first two Reception classes in September 2013 and their first cohort of year 7 pupils joined in September 2014. The academy will reach full capacity in 2020 with just under two thousand pupils. The academy was judged to outstanding in all areas in their Ofsted inspection of April 2015.
They are now looking to recruit a Medical and Welfare Officer to join their team of staff in their secondary school. In this varied and important role you will:
·Oversee the First Aid and medical provision for the secondary phase
·Oversee provision for pupils with medical plans
·Conduct interventions with pupils relating to emotional, physical or welfare related issues
·Administer the health and safety/ accident log
Opportunities like this are few and far between in education and they would very much like to hear from you if you share their vision, values and enthusiasm. They are very happy to talk about the post informally if you require more information
