Where are you looking to take your next career step?

If you are a caring and enthusiastic Registered Nurse who wishes to work for an organization that values compassion and diversity in its work force and who is committed to supporting staff who want a chance to make a real difference to people’s lives then let your compass guide you to NHFT.

OUR VISION :

IS TO LEAD AND INSPIRE STAFF TO PROVIDE COMPASSIONATE AND EXCELLENT CARE TO OUR PATIENTS.

OUR AMBITION:

IS TO CONTINUALLY STRIVE TOWARDS IMPROVING THE CARE THAT WE DELIVER AS WELL AS NUTURING THE RELATIONSHIPS WE HAVE WITH OUR PATIENTS, CARERS AND COLLEAGUES BY TREATING THEM WITH COMPASSSION AND KINDNESS.

This is an exciting time for Northamptonshire Community Hospitals as we continue to widen our provision of care to enable patients to be cared for closer to home. We care for a wide variety of patients including providing step–up and step-down facilities to avoid acute hospital admissions and also to facilitate early discharge. We offer sub-acute care, responding to the needs of patients with long-term conditions, rehabilitation of adults including dedicated Stroke care and younger persons neurological rehabilitation.

If you are a newly qualified nurse looking for an opportunity to consolidate your learning or an experienced nurse who would like to further develop their skills and management abilities then we would like to hear from you. We are looking for applicants who strive to deliver high quality nursing care with a good working knowledge of the nursing process, excellent communication skills, a desire to grow and to learn new skills and develop professionally, and staff who can work creatively and flexibly as part of a MDT whilst paying close attention to involving patients and their families/carers in the decision making process whilst an inpatient and during the onward discharge process.

In turn we will offer you opportunities for continued professional development, an excellent preceptorship for newly qualified nurses and a chance to further your career in a more nurse led environment.

WHY NORTHAMPTONSHIRE?

Northamptonshire is a perfect mix of country villages and thriving market towns with a wealth of cultural, heritage, historical, recreational and sporting attractions including the home of British Formula One Grand Prix, Northants Saints Rugby and County Cricket Clubs, the serenity of the waterways, Wicksteed Park and the bustle of Northampton Town Centre, the largest town in the UK that is not a city.

The county has excellent bus and rail links with London being under an hour away by train with transport links that allow easy access to the A14. M1 and M6. East Midlands and Birmingham Airports are also relatively close by.
