Family Nursing & Home Care, is the principal provider of Community Nursing and Home Care on the Island of Jersey.
We are currently seeking applications for:-
Team Lead – Community Children’s Nursing Team
Permanent Contract
37.5 hours per week
Salary Scale : £51,347 - £54,570 per annum
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced children’s nurse to join our established Community Children’s Nursing Team as the Team Lead on the beautiful island of Jersey.
We are seeking to recruit a flexible, creative children’s nurse with significant post registration experience and skills. Our award winning innovative team provide skilled nursing care to children with a range of medical conditions, complex care needs and life limiting or life threatening conditions.
You will need to be highly motivated with excellent communication skills. The role encompasses day to day leadership of the core service delivery to provide quality nursing care to children and young people in their homes and other community settings. You will support the lead nurse for the children’s palliative care pathway and practitioners who support children with additional needs and complex needs. Also leadership for a team of health care assistants on the commissioned packages of care.
Your role will involve partnership working across agencies and working alongside professionals that form the Team around the Child. You will represent the service in strategic work to support service developments, its delivery and implement the changes required.
Ensuring the voice of the child is captured is essential and that children and families are involved in service development. Strong, innovative leadership qualities are required with the ultimate aim of improving the experiences and outcomes for children and their families.
Car owner/driver or suitable alternative transport to enable you to undertake the job is essential.
