About the Job

Care UK have recently won the contract to deliver an Out of Hours (OOH) Service across Coventry and Rugby, and we are now looking for Advanced Nurse Practitioners to join our service. As this is an OOH job, we are looking for you to be flexible for evenings, overnights and weekends. The OOH service is an appointment based service that is accessed via the national NHS 111 service. Patients are assessed via the 111 team and if it’s clinically appropriate, they will get referred on to our OOH service. This will lead to either a face-to-face appointment in one of our primary care centres, or a home visit by one of our clinicians. As part of the service, we are looking for ANPs who can work within our Coventry or Rugby bases. The skill mix within these services is ENP, ANP and GP’s incorporating urgent care, telephone triage, face to face appointments and home visits. We are specifically looking for ANPs who are able to work in High Wycombe or Stoke Mandeville. As part of this job, you'll see, treat and discharge patients of all ages that present minor illnesses or minor injuries, either over the phone or face-to-face in the base or when you're doing a home visit.
