About the Job

Are you currently a Sonographer and looking for the next step in your career? If so, look no further as we have the job for you. Care UK currently delivers a Musculoskeletal Integrated Care Service (MusIC) across the Buckinghamshire Region, with a Diagnostic facility based in High Wycombe. Due to an internal transfer, we are now looking for an enthusiastic and professional Sonographer to join our team at the High Wycombe Diagnostic Centre as our Clinical Lead on a permanent, full or part-time basis. Within this job you will be responsible for: • Managing the radiology service within the Centre, ensuring the provision of a high quality, safe and cost effective service. • All professional and quality aspects of the diagnostic service, including clinical and professional standards, staffing, governance and clinical support to the radiology team. • Advising the Service Manager on innovation, service improvement and cost effective solutions. • Producing a high standard of ultrasonography practice at all times For more information on Buckinghamshire MusIC, please visit: http://www.buckinghamshire-music.nhs.uk/

The Requirements

Essential: • Hold a diploma in medical ultrasound (DMU) or a postgraduate certificate or Diploma (Pg Cert / Dip) • Have a valid HCPC pin number. • Substantive experience as a Sonographer within NHS/private healthcare environments • Previous supervisory, operational or team lead experience Desirable: • Hold an MSc in Medical Ultrasound • Have an understanding of the registration processes associated with CQC and Diagnostic Imaging services.

This is a permanent job and we can offer this work on a part-time or full time basis. The minimum number of hours is 22.5 hours per week, with a maximum of 37.5 hours per week.
