Clinical Practice Educator – (salary depending on dialysis experience) Full Time

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic nurse to join a new patient training team in Swinton Greater Manchester. Baxter have invested in this new patient training centre which has been set up to deliver expert patient education in home therapies.

The Baxter Education Centre is a 5-bedroom residential education centre located in Swinton Greater Manchester set up to teach people how to perform home based therapies. Patients and their relatives stay at the centre whilst they learn how to perform their treatment and live with their condition.

The role requires the applicant to be actively involved in providing home dialysis training and education to people with kidney failure and long term nutritional support for people with intestinal failure.

The job will be based at the Baxter Education Centre, 202a Partington Lane, Swinton, M27 0NA and is a full-time post.

The candidate should have a passion for teaching and empowering patients along with a strong interest in long term or complex conditions. The successful applicant will be keen to learn and develop their skills in patient education and training.

Basic computer skills and a full driving licence are essential.
