Associate Director of Clinical Services – Nursing.  BMI The Alexandra Hospital, Cheadle, Cheshire.

BMI The Alexandra Hospital is the largest private healthcare facility outside of London and the flagship hospital of the BMI Healthcare group. We provide private healthcare, medical, surgical and diagnostic services for over 20,000 patients each year.”

“As BMI’s flagship site, The BMI Alexandra Hospital provides a wide range of clinical services from invasive diagnostics and outpatient procedures, to complex surgery in multiple specialities including orthopaedic, cardiac, general, spinal surgery, in addition to medical and cancer care.  Care is delivered through our inpatient and outpatient areas, including a level 3 Critical Care Unit, Urgent Care Centre and dedicated Children’s unit.”  The hospital has recently commenced a major investment in refurbishment which is set to continue throughout 2018/19.

This exciting opportunity would suit a driven, autonomous senior nurse with sound leadership skills and prior experience of leading multiple clinical areas in an acute hospital setting.  He/she will be committed to lead and support the delivery of high quality standards across inpatient, outpatient and critical care services and be integral to developing the clinical service and practice.  He/she would work closely with all the hospital clinical and governance teams, consultants and patients and report directly to the Director of Clinical Services.

The ideal candidate will be a senior registered adult nurse who can demonstrate experience in effectively leading and developing health care teams in an acute hospital setting.  He/she will demonstrate calm consistent professional leadership with a strong sense of responsibility and accountability.
