Job Summary

We have an opportunity for Registered Nurses to join our outpatient team at Barlborough NHS Treatment Centre in Chesterfield. Our clean, modern and comfortable hospital specialises in orthopaedic surgery, including hip, knee, shoulder and elbow, foot and ankle, hand and spinal procedures. We also provide an ophthalmology service.

Outpatient Clinical Nurse Manager

Key Responsibilities

As a key member of the outpatient team you will be expected to act as a resource in your clinical area. This will include working closely with the anaesthetic team to determine patients's suitability for surgery in addition to performing pre-operative assessments and seeking advice from the Anaesthetist if you are are not sure of a patient’s suitability for anaesthetic.
