RESIDENT SCHOOL NURSE (PART-TIME / WEEKENDS) - BRUTON SOMERSET
Term-time only
Our client is a community secondary school for the children of the Bruton area, a leading provider of state boarding education, and the principal provider of post -16 education for the students of East Somerset. The School has approximately 270 boarders, and boarding represents an essential element of the school's character and mission.
A vacancy has arisen for a Resident School Nurse to provide a clinically effective, holistic and high-quality service of nursing care to students and to provide first aid care and general advice to all members of the school community. Working hours are 10.00 am on Friday until 10.00 am on Sunday. On exeat weekends and at the end of term, the post-holder will work from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm on Friday only. Due to the number of exeats and school holidays, there will be approximately 23 full weekends (Friday to Sunday) and 10 Friday-only shifts to be worked over the course of the academic year. A competitive pro rata salary is on offer as well as residential accommodation commensurate with this important term-time only role.
