Clinical Research Nurse

Based at Southampton General Hospital

Permanent contract, ideally full-time but part-time applicants considered

Salary: £27,000-37,000 per annum (full-time or pro rata’d accordingly and dependent on experience)

Hours of work: A combination of office working hours and some shift work (including weekends)

Synairgen Research Limited is a drug discovery and development company specialising in respiratory diseases, with a focus on Asthma and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), based at Southampton General Hospital.

We are looking for a nurse to join our small friendly team. The role includes conducting clinic visits with volunteers following study protocols, the recruitment of volunteers, performing specialist respiratory tests and assisting with bronchoscopies.

Experience in respiratory medicine and clinical research is preferred. The successful candidates must be flexible, and have good organisational, communication and IT skills. We are looking for team players who also have the ability to work unsupervised.
