Job Details

After an extremely successful innovative pilot we have revolutionised same day access and assessment of acutely unwell children. The Care, Assessment and Treatment of Children at Home (CATCH) team have been working in a GP hub providing rapid assessment and treatment of children under 5 years presenting with acute minor illness.

Alongside these new ways of working, the CATCH team will continue to provide an alternative to hospital admission, providing acute assessment and intervention on a flexible basis; educating and empowering parents in order for safe effective care to be provided within the home setting.

With the expansion of the service to provide further hubs in new locations, we are seeking to appoint enthusiastic team members who can adapt to our dynamic service. The CATCH team are committed to providing high quality care and staff recruited need to share the same vision to enable further development of our service. This stimulating role involves belonging to a team of friendly, supportive and experienced nurses.

Are you looking to develop your assessment skills? Would you welcome the challenge of working autonomously within a wider team? If so, and this vacancy is of interest please do not hesitate to contact Karen Rickers on: 07525886586 or the CATCH Team on: 07795 200502 for an informal discussion.

NHFT welcomes applications from people, regardless of age, disability, gender, gender reassignment, race, religion or belief, sexual orientation, marital or civil partnership status or pregnancy or maternity status.

We would encourage applications from groups who are currently underrepresented in the organisation. In particular, applications from disabled people (with both visible and non-visible disabilities), people from black and minority ethnic communities and lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgendered (LGBT) people.

NHFT is committed to building a diverse workforce, ensuring staff are treated fairly at work and ensuring all staff have the learning and development they need on equality in order to undertake their job role.
