Job Summary
We are currently looking for a Specialist Sexual Health Practitioner to join our bank team at the Brighton Station Health Centre and help maintain the high standard of patient care we provide. Brighton Station Health Centre is a GP Practice, with walk-in facilities run by Care UK on behalf of NHS Brighton & Hove. The centre offers a range of comprehensive services to registered patients and a walk-in service for the treatment of minor injuries and ailments, without having to make an appointment. The centre is open every day from 8am to 8pm, including all bank holidays and is located just outside Brighton Station on Queens Road.

Key Responsibilities
The post holder will provide a high level support for the day-to-day activities of the service as required .The post holder will take an active role in health education and health promotion as well as in partner notification and contact tracing when required. They will also provide full sexual health screening, advice and treatments to patients diagnosed with, or at risk of sexually transmitted infections.The post holder will also be required to liaise with other agencies and healthcare providers as necessary. The Brighton Station Health Centre clinical facility requires an ability to work effectively as part of a multi professional team within a fast pace environment, in line with the protocols and policies of the local Service and Care UK and professional boundaries.
Qualifications
Completed and obtained RGN and has current live PIN on NMC register Completed relevant post-graduate module (HIV/GUM) Evidence of Continuous Professional Development (CPD)
