Company

Newly opened in 2003 Noble’s Hospital is the islands’ only District General Hospital. It is equipped to the very latest standards with a total complement of 317 beds. We provide a comprehensive range of services typical of most District General Hospitals including acute medicine, general & orthopaedic surgery, maternity, paediatrics, SCBU, ITU & CCU. There is also a stroke unit and thrombolysis is performed on a 24/7 basis in ED.

We have a combined education & training centre on site with a medical library, seminar rooms, lecture theatre and state of the art simulation suite.

Our Island’s healthcare is provided by a National Health Service based on that in the UK but is independently financed and administered within the Isle of Man. Many of the changes brought about to the UK NHS, as a consequence of the reorganisations of recent years have not been adopted here. Although we are spate from the UK NHS, nursing on the island is regulated by the Nursing and Midwifery Council.

Why join us?

  • Great lifestyle opportunities and work-life balance
  • Fantastic opportunities for outdoor activities such as cycling, sailing & kayaking
  • Lower tax rates than a lot of countries in the EU
  • Relocation Grant available
  • Plenty of places to eat, drink and explore
  • We take our staff development seriously - you can be assured that by joining us your career aspirations and personal development will be supported
