Our nurses deserve the very best of champions
Director, Royal College of Nursing Wales, Ty Maeth
£95,937 per annum
Nurses work on the front line of patient care. And those same nurses will feel better with you in this role. Because they’ll have an expert strategist, strong-willed leader and champion of nursing behind them.
This is about speaking for and supporting the Royal College of Nursing members– around 435,000 nurses, health care assistants and students. And providing professional resources to the wider Nursing community. You will be the shrewd negotiator who works with politicians, policy makers and employers to improve terms, conditions and governmental policies; and the ambassador who sets local and national care agendas. By improving education and standards you will strengthen the Nurses role and the country’s respect for the profession.
Living the Royal College of Nursing management values you will inspire a talented team of staff continuing to drive us on the path from outstanding to extraordinary in our RCN best companies’ status. Put together, it is a challenge for a deeply experienced figure. Someone registered with the NMC who understands today’s challenges, has the gravitas to foster strong relationships, and the drive to make sure our nurses’ voices are heard.
