Set in 48 acres of grounds, Priory Hospital Ticehurst provides a calming and therapeutic environment, specialising in the management and treatment of mental health problems. The hospital has residential facilities for 69 service users, as well as offering outpatient services.

Our highly experienced team, including consultant psychiatrists, therapists, nurses and support staff, have established an excellent reputation for providing the highest standards of care.

We are currently looking for a Deputy Ward Manager. The post holder will provide senior nursing leadership to the ward nursing team in support of the ward manager. The post holder will supervise a defined group of team members contributing to their overall CPD recognising and developing the skills required across the service. As well as acting as a role model to promote a culture of learning development, inquiry and team vision.

You will be a first level registered nurse and a trained mentor. Clinical supervision experience is essential along with evidence of personal CPD and intent to develop further as a manager and leader.  At least 3 years or equivalent post registration experience in Mental Health services is essential. A passion to work within a team-orientated culture and a drive to deliver values and evidenced based patient care is key.
