Job Description
As the Staff Nurse, working within a multidisciplinary team, you will plan, deliver and evaluate high standards of nursing care, ensuring the highest level of customer service is delivered to our patients. • Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent, position (37.5 hours per week) • Shift Pattern: Rotational - 7.30am to 8pm / 7.30pm to 8am (days, nights and weekends) • Salary: £31,972 - £36,500 per annum plus 9% shift enhancement. • Benefits: Mentorship programme training, structured career development, funded courses, health and wellbeing support system, private pension, private medical care cover, and much more.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Assess, plan and deliver care to meet patient and family needs. • Demonstrate good clinical practice at all times and to be accountable for own actions. • Work well within a team, directing junior staff and deputising for Senior Staff Nurses in their absence, always ensuring that patient care is at a consistently high level. • Contribute to research based care and other practice development initiatives • Maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
Skills & Experience
• Registered General Nurse with valid NMC pin. • Experience within an oncology or Acute Medical environment. • Motivated and forward thinking individual with excellent communication skills. • Good time management, prioritisation and supervisory skills with a passion for providing an exceptional patient experience.
