About the Health Centre

The Brighton Station Health Centre is a NHS funded service operated by Care UK, one of the largest independent providers of health and social care in Britain. The centre operates 3 distinct services comprising of a GP practice (currently 6700 patients) Walk In Centre and Sexual Health clinic, we are a busy centre so you can be sure to have variety in your working day. The centre is open every day from 8am to 8pm, including all bank holidays and is set in the exciting city of Brighton just outside Brighton Station for an easy commute. If you are travelling from further afar, for example; just 10 minutes from Burgess Hill, 20 minutes from Haywards Heath or a 50 minute journey from Victoria can take you right to the door step. Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Practice Nurse to join our established & friendly team at the Brighton Station Health Centre. The successful applicant will receive support, training opportunities and clinical supervision to be able to develop their career whilst working in a fast paced and challenging environment. The role includes some weekend working on a rotational basis which ensures you know well in advance your days on and off enabling you to plan your life around your work. Salary up to £35,100 per annum, dependent on experience.

Key Responsibilities

As an experienced Practice Nurse, you’ll be vital to delivering chronic disease management clinics, travel health, women’s health and other treatment room tasks to our practice population of 6,700 patients.

Qualifications

•RGN •Degree level – Practice Nurse •Evidence of recent study •Postgraduate, e.g. ENB 998 Teaching /Mentorship course

Additional Information

We have a permanent position available and can offer both full or part-time, working up to 37.5 hours per week. The job will include some weekend working on a rotational basis. We are offering up to £35,100 per annum, dependent on experience (pro-rata for part-time) We also offer 25 days annual leave + 8 public holidays (pro rata), Company Pension Scheme, as well as regional/national opportunities, cycle to work scheme, childcare vouchers and online discounts. •Chronic Disease management with a particular interest in diabetes is advantageous
