As a dedicated Radiographer who enjoys a busy, ever changing work environment we need you to join our growing team at our High Wycombe Diagnostic Centre on a bank basis. The High Wycombe Diagnostic Centre is a modern, high quality Diagnostic facility that operates in partnership with the NHS, providing a range of high quality, innovative clinical services. The service is open Monday to Saturday and some Sundays and offers a range of diagnostic imaging procedures; X-ray, MRI, Ultrasound and Echocardiograms. For more information on the centre, please visit: http://www.midsouthbucksdiagnosticcentre.nhs.uk/ We actively promote training opportunities within the service and may also be able to offer the opportunity to learn MRI radiography as you progress. Within this job you will be responsible for: • Managing examination workload effectively to produce a high quality and safe level of care for all patients • Undertaking a broad range of radiographic techniques and adapting to the requirements of all patients/examination scenarios • Taking part in clinical audits, utilising your knowledge of QA, risk assessment, incident reporting and patient experience and engagement • Safely using x-ray systems using Computed Radiography or Direct Digital Radiography.

The Requirements

In order for you to be considered for the job, as a minimum we are looking for you to: • Hold a BSc in Diagnostic Radiography or DCR(R) or equivalent • Hold a valid HCPC pin number. • Have a minimum of 3 months post-graduate experience with X-ray Radiography.
