Our client is a coeducational secondary school with academy status in Wymondham, Norfolk, England. A former grammar school, it is one of 36 state boarding schools in England and the largest of its type in the country, with up to 700 boarding places. They are seeking to appoint two Medical Centre Nurses to provide clinically effective and outstanding service of nursing care to students and first aid to all members of the school community. The Medical Centre is a modern, up to date, custom built unit with inpatient provision for up to 10 students, situated in the residential area of The Park.

The Medical Centre nurse will ideally be qualified to RCN Band 6 or equivalent with current NMC registration and pin number, typically with a minimum of three years nursing experience. Knowledge and experience in mental health, teenage sexual health, sports injuries, child care and welfare, triage and/or first aid would be an advantage.
