The Role

We are looking for an experienced Occupational Health Nurse to join our Thetford plant who will report into the Environmental, Health and Safety Manager. You will be responsible for leading the Occupation Health function and programme and will develop and implement occupational health procedures and practices, ensuring that the facility is compliant with UK legislation and Baxter Corporate Occupational objectives.

Responsibilities will include, but not limited to: 

  • Absence and Case Management
  • Pre-employment and job placement medical checks 
  • Annual full medicals for relevant site employees 
  • Health Promotion Initiatives
  • Health Awareness and Wellness events
  • Hearing Conservation program and annual vision screening
  • Provide monthly reviews of Occupational Health performance to the EHS and Facilities Manager

 

Who you are 

Education/Experience Requirements:  

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing and appropriate qualifications to practice in the UK
  • Occupational Health Nursing Qualification – Minimum diploma level
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills essential, proactive approach to work essential
