LEAD SCHOOL NURSE - THORPE SURREY
Band 6/7 equivalent - term-time only - accommodation available

Located in a rural setting in the small village of Thorpe, Surrey, our client is an international school for students from Nursery through Grade 12 (ages 3 to 18). They are a day school for students of all ages, and offer boarding in our Upper School (Grades 9 to 12, ages 14 to 18).

A vacancy has arisen for a Lead Nurse to lead and develop their dedicated and friendly professional team to deliver an outstanding health service to all pupils. The successful candidate will:

*have proven leadership experience and experience in School Nursing, Minor Injuries Nursing or Practice Nursing alongside strong organisational skills,
*be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, particularly the ability to relate to young people, parents and colleagues and undertake line management responsibility for all Medical Centre Nurses and Medical Centre Assistants,
*be accountable for all aspects of Medical Centre care, including pupil in-patients,
*be responsible for the strategic development of the Medical Centre in line with recommended best practice,
*be computer literate to at least an intermediate standard and have experience of using medical databases.
