Betsi Cadwaladr University Local Health Board

We have vacancies for Registered Nurses and Midwives across all specialties within North Wales

We are currently recruiting for Registered Nurses, Registered Mental Health Nurses, and Midwives across a range of specialties for our three acute District General Hospitals , Community Hospitals and Community Services. Exciting career opportunities await for both newly qualified and experienced registrants who are passionate about delivering high quality, patient centred care. Specialities include Acute, Community, Mental Health and Learning Disability, Paediatrics and Health Visiting. Full and part time hours are available and we also support family friendly hours, and other flexible hours.

If you do not wish to be committed to a permanent post, we can also offer the option of joining our Nursing & Midwifery Bank, which gives you the choice of flexible shifts and hours to suit your needs.

If you are not currently working as a registered nurse, but wish to return to practice we can offer you a three month part time Return to Practice Course to make the transition. The course involves theoretical and practical updating, is particularly suitable for those who have worked less than 450 hours in the previous three years and who wish to remain registered with the NMC.

As a University Health Board we pride ourselves on our education and training and have close links with local Universities. Induction, orientation and preceptorship is provided to all successful candidates. We are committed to providing first class care, education and development, enhancing your knowledge and skills through supported post registration study. We also offer rotation to develop and enhance your clinical experiences and support your chosen career pathway.

And when you’re not working, you can roam the mountains of Snowdonia, surf off the beaches of Anglesey, or browse the shops in nearby Chester. Liverpool and Manchester airports are close at hand.
