As a trained nurse I came to Salisbury as Chief Executive this year because I’m passionate about patient care and wanted to join a team that felt the same way.

Since I arrived I’ve been overwhelmed by the pride and commitment of all our staff, whether they work on the frontline or in one of our important support services.

I love their passion for our patients, our hospital and their work and the way they all work as a team to support each other across all our services.

We enjoy tremendous support from our local community and beyond. The majority of our patients when asked would recommend our hospital to family and friends, and our staff feel this is a great place to work and receive treatment. We also have great links with our partners in the community and health and social care, which is so important for any hospital and its future direction.

But I’m not content with this. We have ambitious plans to make this hospital even better and we need your help.

Salisbury Hospice has exciting opportunities for Band 5 registered nurses to join our small and friendly multidisciplinary team providing complex symptom management and end of life care and support.

We can offer bespoke rotations across the medicine directorate.

Full or part time hours considered. We work on an internal rotation.

If you have excellent communication skills, the ability to cope under pressure and manage emotional situations we would love to hear from you.
