Job Details
St Elizabeth’s Health Agency provides a range of Learning Disability, Epilepsy Specialist Nurses, Mental Health and Paediatric nursing as well as therapy to support people with learning disabilities, epilepsy and complex health needs. St Elizabeth’s Centre is committed to providing high quality person centred support thus enabling people to maximise their potential through learning, leisure and life.
We currently have vacancies for Night Nurses (44 hours over 8 nights, and annualised hours of 130 nights per year) plus School Nurse (37.5 hours per week)
You will be expected to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team using your nursing experience to assess, plan, implement and evaluate healthcare. You will work closely with therapeutic and residential staff to ensure consistent approaches to health care delivery and have minimum 12 months post registration experience.
St Elizabeth’s has a proven track record in providing specialist health support and is committed to promoting the service as a centre of excellence nationally We are, therefore looking for a dynamic general nurse to join the adult nursing team with a proven background in general nursing skills. Specialist Epilepsy training will be provided.
Our framework governs that we deliver person centred holistic care providing nursing services to an on site college and residential home. We also work in partnership with GP’s, Psychiatrists, and Lead Neurologists from both Great Ormond Street and the National hospital for Epilepsy.
