Care UK has been awarded a new contract for the delivery of Integrated Urgent Care (IUC) services across Suffolk and North East Essex. This means that we will be delivering urgent care through NHS 111, utilising GPs and specialist clinicians to deliver the best possible urgent care services 24/7, 365 days per year, to over 1 million patients in the region. If you are a qualified Nurse or Paramedic looking for your next opportunity and you have the passion and desire to deliver a better urgent care service to the people that matter then look no further, as this could be the job for you. The job will be based in our Clinical Assessment Service (CAS) for Suffolk and North East Essex and is located in our call centre in Ipswich. In order to deliver this vision, we are looking for clinicians who are able to work within Telephone Assessment. Full training will be given. You will be responsible for assessing patients, using a telephone assessment triage system (TAS) and streaming them to the most appropriate service or advice. You will be working within a Multi-Disciplinary Team in the CAS which consists of GPs/ANPs, Registered Nurses, UCPs, Mental Health and Dental Nurses and Prescribing Pharmacists and Pharmacy Advisors This is an exciting new opportunity to make a difference to patients, simplifying the way that they can access urgent care to get the right treatment in the right place at the right time.
