Roodlane operates out of offices in London, Prestatyn and Glasgow, and provides services to blue chip clients mainly in banking, legal and professional services.

The BNPP H&W Team is comprised of members of the Bank’s UK Group Benefits team and other onsite personnel dedicated to H&W: Occupational Health Advisor & Physiologist (from Roodlane), Fitness Centre Programme Director (from Nuffield.)

Job Description

As part of Roodlane Medical, you will be working with a skilled and experienced medical team, in a supportive and professional environment with opportunities for personal learning and development within the facility. Regular internal meetings will be held to support the bank’s strategic objectives around all areas of H&W with a particular current focus on an advanced screening programme, primary services and mental health.

To support the operation of the onsite Roodlane H&W clinics (Physiology), the smooth operation of Roodlane’s health screening programme for BNPP and other Roodlane H&W services (including presentations and educational initiatives) with a dual role supporting the client around Health & Wellbeing.

This is a 40 hour a week contract with a competitive salary starting at £23,922 (increasing depending upon experience.)

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Main contact for clients regarding bookings / cancellation of the onsite diary dealing with queries regarding the health screening programme
  • Working with the customer services team in Wales on recall and advanced screening processes.
  • Facilitating pre-screen tests for clients which requires phlebotomy and saliva samples (Training provided), working alongside the onsite physiologist, and administration of the other pre-screen tests (DNAFit and Oncogene genetics tests).
  • Supporting the clinical team who have identified patient red flags and emailing these clients to book in for a follow-up at timeframes suggested by the clinician.
  • Dealing with responses and bookings from promotions e.g. FirstBeat, Access clinic (metabolic health)
  • Support for any invoicing issues related to onsite Physiologist and health screening programme activity (no-shows, duplicate bills etc.)
  • Support and promotion of wellbeing initiatives and events
  • Involvement in H&W projects and BAU work: as a project team member this might extend to documenting minutes and actions, co-ordinating parts of projects, arranging diaries, meeting rooms and presentation facilities. This would relate to any of the Bank’s H&W programmes/benefits including dental (BUPA), medical insurance (AXA), Cycle2Work, stress initiatives (Biobeats / Firstbeat) as well as around issues such as mental health & stress awareness campaigns
  • Responsible for procurement of physiology clinic medical supplies and consumables
  • Ad-hoc day to day support to the Benefits team: responding to employees on simple queries, reviewing H&W literature/communications

Skills & Experience

• Good organisation and prioritisation skills
• Be able to build good relationships with colleagues, employees and 3rd party providers
• Strong communication skills
• Basic/intermediate knowledge of MS Excel
• Able to manage own tasks and work autonomously
• Self-motivated to learn and progress
• Phlebotomy and saliva sampling for DNA tests (training will be provided)
